The first heat of the Mixed Foursome Handicap was played on 21st inst. on the Rotatawai links. There was a largo attendance, and the following players won: —

Miss G, Monckton and Hannay (16) beat Mrs O. It. Bidwill and W. Hume (18) 4 up 3 to play. Miss W. Hannay and J. Carne Bidwill (6) beat Mrs F. Pearce and W. E. Bid will (6) 4 up 3 to play. Mis W. E. Bidwill and F. Pearce (5) beat Miss Bunny and G. ’Hume (10) 2 up I to play. Miss E. Monckton and J. O. Bidwill (17) beat Mrs G. Hume and A. C. Pearce (17) 2 up 1 to play.
