The death occurred at the District Hospital shortly after 10 p.m. oil Monday, of Charles Robertson, lamp-trimmer oil the steamer Kiripaka, who on Sunday ■was taken to the institution suffering from a bullet wound in the abdomen, and for having caused which a wharf labourer named James Barr was arrested on Sunday, charged with attempted murder. , , _ ■' In consequence of Robertsons cleatn, Barr will stand his trial on a more serious charge. > The deceased was about thirty-seven years of age.
