AN EFFICENT WIRE SCOOP

patent wire scoop, of which an illustfation is here given, is manufactured by the Cleveland Lock Company, of Cleveland, Ohio, TJ.S.A., which claims that it is the only absolutely safe edge wire scoop made in this or any other country, and also that it is the strongest and finest in the home or foreign market. No rivets are used in its construction to wear off or come out, and it is larger than any other wire scoop manufactured. . It is made of spring steel stock, and has a.socket handle. The body wires are finely galvanised, which gives them a

high finish, and firmly cements the whole blade like one solid piece. The scoop is strong enough to handle coal or coke, and is also largely used by icemen in gathering ice. In many parts of the country it is used to gather fruit as well as vegetables, as there are no sharp edges to injure the fruit when filling or unloading. In some places this scoop is used for handling fisli. For icemen it is made with long handles and malleable D tops, and the greatest care is taken in all parts of the manufacture. —'“American Exporter and Importer/’
