DRESS HINTS
The sunshine brings out the übav things in fashion, aa Avell as the freshness in nature. It makes our shop AvindoAVS look more appropriate, Avliich erstwhile were suggestive of chills, Avith their slioav of light and summery things, and, judging from the modes already on vievv, the sloping style will be more general than it Avas last season. We are getting more used to this early Victorian fashion, but Avhether Ave shall fully adopt it remains yet to be seen. Alreacb- however, everything of the neAvest slopes, especially the shoulders, Avhile some of the latest skirts are full, with little pleats or flounces. As yet,' Ave remain aloof for the most part from the bonnet of that period, and will have nothing to do with the shawl that Avas indispensable then.
