Messrs Abraham and Williams report that sales for the week comprise Hiyiter-vill-c, Mavton, Colyton, Otaki, and Pafmeav.lon North, and a. clearing sale on account of Mr J. Hurley, of Kairanga. The sheep at each centre sold freely with a steady upward 'cendeuicy, and values are rapidly approaching the extreme limit at which they can prove payable. Cattle have been in better demand 1 and somewhat increased prices, no cioubt. owing to the shortage of sheep and the feed which is now plentiful throughout the country. At Palmerston bn the Mtli we had an average entry of sheep, and' a full yarding of cattle. For the sheep there was keen competition, a- pen of extra prime Lincoln ewes, on behalf of Mr Gaisiord, making Us Id.
