Of the two inspector® of machinery lately appointed, Messrs- Cullen and Ramsay, Mr Cullen will assist in the Wellington district, and Mr Ramsay m the Otago district. Mr Ramsay is to succeed! Mr Sharp, who is promoted to t’no charge of the Napier district as inspector, with headquarters at the liewly-odablished district office at Napier. Mr Hood, at present assisting as inspector in the Auckland district, is promoted to the charge of the Nelson district, and Mr Gra-nt, inspector now assisting in the Wellington district, is to be transferred to the Auckland district to fill the vacancy there, caused by the, promotion of Mr Hood.. The Lueena tstate, Weraiti, has been purchased by Messrs C. A.Powntall and M. C. 0 ; Connell, of Mastentoai, and will shortly be subdivided into dairy fauna and offered to the public. -
