NEURALGIA CURED BY RADIUM

A patient suffering from neurasthenia had been restored in three days, while another affected by acute facial paralysis recovered in one day. The activity of the radium employed varied from 10 to 7000 unite, whereas pure radium attains to 1,800,000 units of radio-activity. The radium which had given the best results bad a radioactivity of from 1000 to 7000 units, and this had been applied during two to six hours a day. The lecturer pointed out that preparations of radium of this strength could he made at a very resoaab'le cost.
