Russell’s Wanderer. CONCLUDING DAY. The closing day of the Wellington and Suburban Coursing Club’s meeting at Trentham Park was marked by gloomy weather, a small attendance of the general public, and tolerably good sport. Rain fell during the forenoon, making outdoor pastimes disagreeable, but the day cleared somewhat in the afternoon, an'd the unfinished events were got through under more favourable conditions. The blares appeared to- be of a better class than those coursed on the preceding days, and although tliev had to run the gauntlet with the pick of the dogs, nearly all succeeded in getting to cover. The sport all round was good, but the £lO match between Noble Lady and \\ anderer was a big disappointment to the onlookers as neither liound succeeded in getting to close quarters with puss, and the prize was awarded to Y\ anderei, evidently on a test of speed. The owner of Duskv May not being quite satisfied with her defeat by Full Cry m the third round for the Easter Stakes, a voluntary run-off was arranged between them at the close of the programme, and this resulted ill an undecided course. Uii the whole the promoters of the meeting are to be congratulated on the excellent sport they provided. Following are details : •* Match, £lO a side.-Alr B. H. Russell’s r b AYanderer beat Air A. K.
