LANCASHIRE STEEPLECHASE. LONDON April 4. Following is the result of the Lancashire Handicap Steeplechase, three miles and a half, run at the Manchester Easter meeting-. Lord James, Oyi.s 9.10, 1; John AI.M., Syrs, 10.2. 2; Fairknd, aged, 12.2, 3. Leamington was fourth. Air Spencer Goilan’s New Zealand horse Aloifaa also ran. THE MANCHESTER MEETING. LONDON, April 6. The Alanchester Jubilee Hurdle Handicap was won by Vendale, Australian Star being second and Longthorpe third.
