O’Regan is worthy of perusal, whilst a very pleasant hour may be beguiled over “A Visit, to' Mastertou.” by “Viator”; “Handel and Bach,” by J. McG.; “Physical Culture/’ by _“Mjasculus”; “Holiday Rambles at Pioton,” by “Phiz”; “A Woman’s Heroism,” which is a thrilling tale of the early mining days in Otago, by L. E. Redchel, are all well worth reading. The letterpress and get up of the magazine, which was printed at the office of the “New Zealand. Times” Co., is creditable alike to the proprietors and to the printers.
