Last year the GtagO' Rabbit drapers 5 Association handled 030,000 rabbits. The “ Mataura Ensign ” states -that as a refiult of the co-operative system upon which the association works the trappers averaged an extra, penny per pair. The new theatre that is being erected at Gisborne will seat one thousand persons, and is to cost £4OOO. It will boast a nicely-fitted drefis-cirele, with two hundred cast-iron scats of the most' approved pattern, raid a stage suitable to the requirements of any travelling company.
