Tho London Salvage Company has been Compelled to abandon the attempt to recover the bullion in the sunken wreck of the Elingamite. ■ The steamer Young Dungaree, chartered by the company, bias returned to Auckland, after an absence of about fifty days. _The diver was unable to make a descent owing to stormy weather. ;
