PAHIATUA RACING CLUB. The annual meeting of the Paliiatua Racing Club will be ha ' to-da*/ and on Thursday. The acceptances received are particularly good, 105 horses being engaged in the eight, events on the first day. Winners at Foxton and the Hutt have been penalised as follows: —Flying Handicap, Tangawhai 7.9; Handicap Hurdles, Nadador 10.5; Paliiatua Cup, Good Intent 8.8, Jeanne d’Arc 8.3, Tirole 7.11; Railway Handicap, Jeanne d’Arc 8.10, Livonia 8.4, Tirole 7.11, Replete 7.7. The first event is set down for decision at noon. The following horses may run well on the first day:— Flying Handicap.— Tangawhai and Bounce. Hurdle Handicap.—Miss King and Nadador. Trial Hack.—Anadeja and Rungarawa. \ Paliiatua Cup.—Gold Dust and Good Intent. Telegraph Stakes. —Bounce and Gold Dredge. Welter Hack. —Ngatarua and Little Turk. Railway Handicap.—Pure Silver and Replete. Konini Handicap.—Spoil and Capulet.
