HIS MAJESTY'S DEPARTURE FROM PARIS. PAR iS, May 4. King Edward lias left Pans. President Loubet, M. Combers (Premier) and M. Delcasse (Foreign Minister) accompanied Ills Majesty to ti>© railway station. The party were enthusiastically cheered en route. PARIS, May 5. General Andre, Minister for War, has transmitted to the Military Governor of Paris King Edward’s, congratulations on tlio appearance and bearing of the troops. At the iiistanoo of the King, the troops were granted a day’s rest. King Edward has sent a telegram ta President Loubet, warmly thanking him for his reception in France. His Majesty slept aboard the Royal yaeht. He is to leave Cherbourg today. LONDON, May 5. The French and British newspapers hail the prospect of permanently friendly and relations between the two countries. President Loubet is assured by the press of a great welcome when he visits London.. King Edward has left Cherbourg. The American newspapers declare that King Edward has proved himself a great ambassador. Russian newspapers approve the increasing cordiality of Arglo-F'ranch. relations. LONDON, May 6. In a telegram to King Edward, President Loubet says he is delighted atb the good impression which his Majesty has carried away with him as the result of his visit to France. The President warmly, thanks the King for the sentiment he has so kindly manifested towards the French people and Government. King Edward was accorded a splendid ovation on Ms arrival at Portsmouth and also on reaching London.
