PIGEON SHOOTING
From a private letter we learn that Mr W. Watson, junior, of the Eastern Extension Cable Company’s service at Labxian, Borneo, has been making good practice'in clay pigeon shooting in the East. He has Avon for the fifth and final time, against all competitors, the Lichtenberg Cup! valued at one hundred doilais his shooting in the last competition nine hits out of ten shots It might be mentioned that the gun the sxiceessfiil competitor shot with Avasi a Mai chain, and was used as a fowling-piece some tAventy years ago in China by his ratfaei, Mr W. Watson, of Wellington.
