At an inquest held at Paraparaumu concerning the death of Edward Goonfellow, aged fifty years, who wa-s killed last Sunday whilst driving the Rev 9* T. Pargiter from Paraparaumu to Paikakariki, a verdict was returned that deceased’s death was accidental. Goodfellow had no relations in the colony. He had been a coachman for many years, and was latterly in the employ ot air W. W. Harrison, of Paraparaumu.
