The Hawke’s Bay Land Board has passed the folloAving resolution : “That to meet the increasing demand for land in this district this Board respectfully urges on the Government the (advisability of taking over the East Gcxst Native Trust Land, held by tho Bank of NeAV Zealand Assets Realisation Board, or such portions as are “eminently suitable for dairying and farming, such as Paremata and Pakowai.” The area of land recently announced as open for selection will shortly be supplemented by about 60,000 acres in the Waitahia and Motu districts, Poverty Bay*
