By the Westralia on the 13th, the Da® partment of Agriculture received a consignment of 25 Angora goats from New South W T ales. It is intended to place the goats, after they have completed their period in quarantine, on * some weedy sections at Levin, in order to ascertain the effect they will have in the eradication of weeds, and also how they will thrive. The department lias already eight or nine Augora goats on Somes Island, and in tho course of a few months will probably have some males of this useful bleed for sale to settlers.
