VICTORIA CLUB.
The Hamerton badges were played for on the Victoria Club’s green on Saturday, and resulted in the challengers winning by two points. The following are the results. SOUTHERN TOURNAMENT. PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, February 1. The New Zealand Bowling Association’s tournament was brought to a close this morning, when Howell (Taieri) beat Louisson (Christchurch) for Third place in the Singles Championship. Howell’s performance for the meeting is a very creditable one. With Carswell, he won the doubles, and also the rinks tourna’tasst, and then finished up by getting third in the singles. The visitors were entertained to-day at Air C. F. Greenslade’s residence at Burke’s.
