The Lady in Waiting presents her compliments to Mrs Wilford, and is desired by her Royal Highness the Princess of Males, to reply to her letter, and say that tho Maori patika has arrived safely and her Royal Highness begs that Mrs Wilford will kindly express to tho committee and women cf We hngon her Royal Highness’s most grateful thanks for their charming present, which the Princess greatly 3 adnnres, and will always value.” Auckland’s prosperity during the last year is reflected in the small number of bankruptcies which have passed though the Official Assignee’s office.
