Cioake; press steward... Mr B. Keys; hon secretary Mr A. X., Styles. The Thorn don Amateur Swimming; Club held a most successful carnival oal Saturday afternoon at the Thor&df&x: Baths. There was a good attendance f>£ spectators. The swimming was very s»fi~ isfactory. and the club’s handicappers are.to be congratulated on the fine finishes: The principal event of the day, the Indies' Bracelet, was won by Mr A. M. Sarsmd;., in the good time of 33sec. E. T. Heggiuu. (Blenheim) managed to touch first m the 220 Yards Handicap, which was tionably the finest race provided.
