Messrs Denny Brothers, of Dumbarton, the designers and builders* of the Riinutaka, have also in their yards another new steamer for the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Ruapehu, and her keel was laid down alongside the Rimutaka when the latter vessel was well on towards completion. The new Ruapehu, is a little longer and a little finer run than the Rimutaka, and her builders expect to get another knot out of her.
