STATEMENT BY SIR. W. LYN£. SYDNEY, February 23. Sir William Lync states that the bills are part of the £4,000,000 loan which was. authorised by Barliament during the session before last, and of which £1,500,000 has already been placed locally. He fixed the limit at 99 per cent. LONDON, February 22. New South Wales has placed a million 4 per cent. Treasury bills, with a currency of four years, on the London market. The price has been withheld. LONDON, February 23.
