A WORLD’S RECORD. SYDNEY, February 23. R. Cavill won the 300yds swimming championship of New South Wales, in 3min 40 4-ssec, which constitutes a world’s record. The race was a magnificent one, the winner heating Craig by a couple of feet. The previous record, made by Fred Lane, was 3min 46 3-ssee.
