MYSTERIOUS POISONING CASE.
FATHER AND THREE CHILBRTJN DU Aik The “Central News” Taut on correspondent telegraphs that a mysterious poisoning case has occurred at the village of Gate, near Alilverton, West Somerset. A labourer named Alaunder, his wife, and six children were taken ill, and the father and three children have died. Some herrings which the family had for breakfast are supposed to be the cause. At an inquest the doctors said there were appearances of phosphorus poisoning, but the inquest was adjourned, pending an analysis of the .contents -of the internal ’organs of the deceased by a London specialist.
