A FATAL DUEL
BERLIN, February. 12. : Staff-Surgeon Rueger, of the. German Army, challenged Captain Adams, at Metz, for an insult to Lieutenant Rueger, of the same regiment, the surgeon wishing to spare his brother a duel because he was married.„ Adams was shot dead. Rueger has been sentenced to twelve years’ penal servitude and cashiered from the Army. lb was argued at the trial that Rueger only wished to disable Adame.
