By the Rimutaka, Mr J., Mrs and the Misses Kirkcaldie returned to Wellington from their visit to the Old Country. The Benevolent Trustees met on the 19th, when there were present: Messrs G. Webb (in the chair, in the absence of the Rev J. K. Elliott), H. Cook, R. Mothes, C. E. Willeston, C. H. Izard, A. Sample, D. Robertson and Rev W. A. Evans. The number of persons in the Home to date was stated to be—Females, 17 ; males, 46 ; total, 63 A letter was read from a branch of the British Older of Oddfellows, conveying a vote of thanks to the master and matron of the Ohiro Home for their kindness to a lodge membefi while he was an inmate .of the Home. A number cf applications for relief were dealt with, and the usual routine business gone through.
