THE ROYAL VISIT TO THE COLONIES.

The Duke andl Duchess of Cornwall have arrived in London from Osborne House, Isle of Wight. LONDON, February 11.
Tbe Portsmouth dockyards are preparing for the us© of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall during their visit to the colonies four steam pinnaces 42ft long, painted royal blue, and picked out in gold; also a sailing barge 34ft long, similarly decorated.
LONDON, February 12
Sir Donald McKenzie, until recently director of the foreign department of “The Timas/'’ will be the guest of the Duke of Cornwall on the Ophiv. He will describe the royal tour for that paper.
MELBO UTvNE, February 11. The Lieutenant-Governor (Eton. Sir J. Madden) has cabled to Mr Chamberlain expressing the grateful appreciation of the people of the colony at the sacrifice and demotions shewn by the King and the Duke of Cornwall in deciding that'the Koval visit shall be carried out.
