At a meeting of the North Canterbury Hospital Board to-day, a stormy discussion arose over, a motion by Mr Dunlop that a; previous resolution appointing an honorary surgeon to treat special diseases in women; should be rescinded. Correspondence on the matter between the chairman and the honorary staff was read. Several members com-
