A dispute as to liability f or certain plans, involving a claim for £ll ll s , wa.s heard by Dr McArthur, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court on the 29th instant. Thp plaintiff was T. S. Lambert, an architect, and the defendant Thomas Roskruge, a property-owner. The plaintiff urged, that he had prepared certain plans and supervised work for defendant by request, but the defendant contcndecf that the order given by inm was for less elaborate work than that done. Mr Dalziell appeared for plaintiff and Mr Loughnan for defendant. His Worship e-aid that the dispute mainly arose from failure to make a definite arrangement. Judgment would be for seven guineas. Costs totalling £1 16s were allowed to plaintiff.
