CHRISTCHURCH, January 14. _ The gymnastic tournament at the Exhibition concluded on Saturday night. The Wellington teams were most successful, the ladies’ team particularly so. The results are : —Roman rings—Wellington, 251 points, !; St-. Luke’s, 185, 2. Dumbbells—-Wellington ladies, T9B, 1; Feudal ton, 194, 2; _ St. Luke’s, 192, 3. Indian Clubs—Wellington ladies, 96, 1; St. Luke’s, 90, 2; Fendalton, 84, 3; Parallel Bars—'Wellington, 225, 1; Fendalton, 194, 2; St. Luke’s, 192, 3. Horizontal Bar—St. Luke’s, 205, 1; Wellington, 131, 2. Vaulting Horse—St. Luke’s, 197, 1; Wellington, 180, 2. Grand aggregate (apparatus' work) —Hubert Girdiestone, Wellington, 151 points, 1: T. EL Harker, St. Luke’s, 144, -2. Grand aggregate (dumbbells and Indian clubs) —G. Bush, Fendalton, 64, 1 and gold medal; Miss Gambrill, Wellington, 52, 2 and special gold medal.
