A meeting of creditors in the* estate of Ernest Beguelv .was held last week, "in the presence of the’ Official Assignee, Messrs Caselberg (Wairarapa Farmers’ Association), £7B 14s. 8d ;- A. Trir.der, £3; 3. Couchman ("’New Zealand Times’ - '), £2B 13s; J. ,Danks, £3l; Bamsay, Taylor and Ramsay, £l6 4s 4d-; Thomas Duffy,' £2 -10 s ; Swanson, £112; J. Flockton, £190.; and others. Bankrupt, in his written statement, attributed his bankruptcy to his capital being insufficient to meet initial expenses and falling off of business.
