The February number of the “New Zealand Journal of Insurance, Mining and Finance” is to hand. It is, like other issues, replete with news items and articles of interest to the commercial community. An instructive articie on Principal and Agent” is quoted from “The Accountant.” A number of business men in Wellington are forming a limited liability company to acquire from Mr J. H. Williams the Day’s Bay estate and the steamers Duco and Duchess, and the duties of managing director are, it is 2 T 22,® rstood > to be undertaken by Mr Williams himself. It is proposed to greatly improve the present ferry servioe, and in every way to improve the seaside resorts on that side of the harbour.
