With reference to statements that have been, mad© to the effect that Mr Seddon’s meeting at Pahiatua was packet with co-operative workers recently sent up to that district, and that notwithstanding, the meeting was adverse, Mr Thomas Lennon.; writes from Pahiatua to a member of the V/orkers’ Union, ,-bring an emphatic contradiction.. _ He says the co-operative workmen are eighteen rniies out of Pahiatua, and, as a matter of fact, only one out of forty attended the meeting ; and, so far from being disorderly or adverse, the audience was of the most orderly and enthusiastic character.
