ABORIGINES. This word, whichsis so Avell-known, simply means without origin, and was originally given to the earliest known inhabitants of Italy, and since applied to the original in habitants of any country. "Without going into the origin of Wolfe's Schnapps, which is well-known, it may be said without fear of contradiction that this stimulant is a general favourite all over the world ; and, because of this, the old bottles are often taken, when empty, and re-filled with cheap, unwholesome gin.
