Messrs Abraham and Williams report as follows r —Our sale on Saturday comprised a lino of about 30 broken and unbroken hacks and lighter harness horses, on account of Mr J. R. McDonald, and some 30 others of very medium quality. The attendance was good and the bidding spirited, more especially for any animal showing a bit of weight, resulting iir a total clearance of the lot, with the exception of three over-priced animals. Great disappointment was expressed at the non-appearance of tha medium draughts advertised, which it appears were stopped by a heavy flood in the Otaki river, and will come forward on Saturday, 26th inst. There is a good demand for reliable heavy trap horseß.
