FIRES.

Napier, May 12. A six-roomed house at Clive, owned and occupied by Mrs Eetter, was burned down yesterday afternoon. The house was invaded by flood water recently, and a fire had been lit in the front room to dry the furniture, and it is imagined a spark flew out and caused the fire. The insurances on the building are £2OO, and on the furniture .£lB5, in the South British. Hawera, May 12.
