Sydney, May 6. At the Tennis Tournament to-day in tbe Ladies’ Single Handicap Miss Dransfield, of Sydney, defeated Miss Nunneley, of New Zealand. ,* The railway revenue for the quarter shows a net increase of £39,000 compared with tbe previous Maich quarter. Sydney, May 9. At the tennis tournament yesterday, in the Ladies’ All-comers Singles, Miss Howitt, Victoria, beat Miss Nunneley, New Zealand. In the Ladies’ All - comers’ Doubles, Misses Howitt and Nunneley beat Miss Parr (South Australia) and Miss Dransfield (New South Wales). In the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Challenge Pairs, Miss Howitt and Dunlop (Victoria) beat Miss Nunneley and Dewhurst (New South Wales). In the Men’s Singles Championship, Curtis (Queensland) beat Crossman (New South Wales), and in the Doubles Championship Dunlop and Greene (Victoria) beat Kearney (Victoria) and Bowen (South Australia).
