AN INVITATION. TO HONEST MEN. The proprietors of Wolfe’s Schnapps invite the attention of all honest men to the following facts — 1. There are many inferior imitations of Wolfe’s Schnapps sold throughout this Colony. 2. Some of these imitations are unwhole some, and even dangerous to health. 3. Some unscrupulous persons re-fill empty Wolfe’s Schnapps bottles with cheap gin, and sell the same as Wolfe’s Schnapps. 4. This is done because there is more profit on the cheap gin, because of its inferior quality. You are therefore respectfully invited to be cautious when buying from broken packages ,• and, if possible, buy whole bottles in original and unbroken wrappers, and, after use, either | deface the labels or break the bottles. 29
