Ashley. —On Monday, 26th April, at Wellington Hospital, after a long and painful illnes, Sophira Ashley ; aged 73 years. Deeply regretted. Croskery. —On 3rd March, at the Wellington Hospital, Alexander Brown, second son of Hugh Croskery, Clontarf, Dublin, Ireland, formerly of Downpatrick, County Down ; aged 59. Curtis.— On 7th May, at his parents’ residence, 26, Pipitea street, after a long and painful illness of over six years, borne with much fortitude, John Robert Mouat, eldest and only surviving son of Robert Toler and Dorothea Curtis, and grandson of the late Colonel J. Sinclair. —On the 11th April, at Litchfield street, Blenheim, Sibyl Geraldine, the fifth beloved daughter of William and Sarah Mcßae Sinclair; aged 1 year and 1 month. - Shuimpton. —On the 10th April, at “ Glenalvon,” Auckland, Margaret Mary, the beloved wife of Walter Shrimpton, of Matapiro, Hawke’s Bay ; aged 40.
