INDUSTRIAL STATISTICS.
The Census Industrial Statistics show in a table prepared bj r the Registrar-General that the establishments for fellinongering, tanning, currying and wool-scourinpr have increased since 1801 from 104 to 117. The following particulars aro given :

Canterbury takes the lead of the Provi ni;il Districts in this industry, with 2!> c-s atjli.shments, 600 hands, receiving £4L,Bt>4 in wages. Otago follows with 28 establishments, 319 hands, and .£24,532 of wages. Wellington comes next, with 17 establishments, 212 hands, and .£19,162 of wages. Hawke's Bay has 16 establishments, 132 hands, and pays .£10,133 in wages. Auckland stands next, with 15 establishments, 223 hands, and Ji.17,715 of wages. The Census Industrial Statistics show that the aerated water and cordial manufactories have increased since 1891 from 112 to 132. The following particulars are also given : Tn-
