I The Salvation Army commenced an " Exhibition Campaign," led by Brigadier Koskin, and assisted by Majors Bruntneil and Birkenshaw and Staff-Captains Edwards, Knight and Harris on Saturday. An open-air festival was held in the evening at the foot of Cuba street. Selections were played by the band, and solos rendered by members of the Army. Brigadier Hoskin, Major Birkenshaw, StaffCaptains Harris, Knight and Captain E. Bishop (social secretary) gave short addresses, on Sunday morning there was a " kaee drill" at 7 o'clock, and at 11 o'clock the Vivian street Barracks was well filled for a " holiness convention," conducted by Brigadier Hoskin. At 3 p.m. there was a " free and easy meeting," when addresses were given by the visiting officers. At 7 o'clock last night there was a Salvation " blaze," conducted by Brigadier Hoskin, assisted by the staff. A big rescue meeting will be held at S tonight, preceded by a rescue march, in which the officers will be mounted on horseback.
