ELECTION DAY.
A Supplementary Gazette, issued last week, contains a proclamation from His Excellency the Governor, intimating that he has signed the warrant directing the Clerk of the Writs forthwith to issue writs for the election for all the electoral districts within the Colony. The writs were accordingly issued at midday on Friday, fixing the 4th of December as the date for the elections. TL e nominations will close on Friday next.
