Auckland, November 14. At tbe first meeting- of the Auckland Cask Cyclists’ Club in the Domain, 5000 people were present. In the first distance of the Cycling Club Handicap, one mile, Barker (Christchurch) was first, Hunt (Rangitikei), 3 oyds, second, and Hendry (Auckland), 75yds, third. In the second distance event, three xnile3, Hunt was first, Barker second, and Forbes third, 'the third distance event, five miles, was won by Hunt, 45yds; Barker, scratch, second, and Forbes, 50yds, In the Five-Mile Scratch Face, Barker won by half a wheel, Hunt second, and Forbes (Hawera) third. Time, 14min 51 4-sseo. The Half-mile Bicycle Race was won by 5\ ilmott by six inches, Forbes second. Tomlinson won the 100yds and 75yds races. In the Two-mile Tandem Race, the North Island (Forbes and Hunt) beat the South Island (Barker and \Yilmott/ by a wheel. Time, smin4Bseo.
