AN INGLEWOOD WEDDING.

Dear Aunt Ellen,—On Wednesday afternoon, the 7th of October, a very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Andrews Church, Inglewood, Taranaki, when Mr Jack Wilson, son of Mr Thomas Wilson, of Maknri, Pahiatua, was married to Miss Emily Hamerton, daughter of Mr L. A. Hamerton, of. Barnlea, Inglewood. The Bev Archdeacon Gqvett, of New Plymouth, was the officiating clergyman. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a very pretty gown of ivory cashmere trimmed with Boft white silk lace and orange blossoms, » She also wore a white embroidered tulle veil and the usual wreath, and carried ah exquisite bouquet of clematis and iris. Two bridesmaids attended her, viz., the Misses Con and Emma Hamerton, who wore pretty white frocks trimmed with white satin ribbon and lace yoke collars, large white tulle trimmed with white satin ribbon and blue forget-me-nots, their shower bouquets of forget-me-nots were very pretty. The bridegroom's presents to the bridesmaids were gold bar brooshes. Mr R. W. Hamerton, of Patea, acted aa best man. After the ceremony, the guests were entertained at Burnlea, the residence of the bride's parents. Among those present were Mesdames N. K. McDairmid, Wilson, Fookes, Kelsey, Devenish, W. J.- Malone, W. Skinner, R. J. Matthews, N. Stephenson, and the Misses C. Bayley, Marshall, Brown, Trimble (2), N. Webster, Devenish, Wilson, McKellar, Rawson, and Masters Brian Malone and Geoffrey Kelsey. Mr and Mrs Jack Wilson left during the afternoon for their home in New Plymouth. The happy pair were the recipients of many beautiful presents, which numbered over one hundred.—l am, tec, Effie.
