The Autumn Mefling of the MastertonOpaki Joi key Club wan hold to-day. Tho weather was all that cud 1 be desired, but tho eourso wus somewhat heavy. The attendance ww very lame, visitors being present from Wellington and all parts of the district. Tho Willis street, fr.itornity was particularly well represented, but none of that section appeared over-jubilant. Tho racing was good throughout, the fields being large in every ease. '1 he starting machine of Messrs Bright and Morrison was successfully used. Two totalis,ilors inside tickets, jfJl : outside, 10s — wtra worked by Mr B. Fames.
