THE NILE CAMPAIGN.

London, April 18. The War Oilico has been instructed to hold two regiments of Guards and three line regiments in readiness for active service abroad in June. It is unofficially known that they are destined for Egypt, where they will land in July. Py the end of ,\ ugust the British reinforcements will number (mix), and probably an Indian contingent will increase the number. According to tho Army and Navy Gazette tho earliest advantage will bo taken of tho rise of the Nile at the end of July to transport the troops, supplies, eve., to Dongola. Until the river is high enough to allow stern-wheel steamers to pass safely over tho cataracts native craft will be used for transportation purposes. They will, howover, only bo used to transport stores to places near tho present base of operations.
