A NOTED CRIMINAL.

Robert Butler has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in tho robbery of McPhee, who was stuck-up at Hawthorn, a suburb of Melbourne, and robbed of money and a gold watch and chain. Accused was sentenced at Dunedin in 18S0 to 1H years' penal servitude for burglary and lo years for sacrilege. When leaving the' Court tho prisoner caught sight of a female relative, and has acted hysterically ever since, butting his head against the walls of his Cell.
