The quarterly meeting of the committee) of tho Sunday - school Union was held in St. John’s Schoolroom last week. It was resolved that 1111 examination of Sunday-schools beheld in Willis street and Thorndon Schools .on Friday, July 3rd, at 7 p.m., and that the Executive Committee he left a freo hand in the choosing of examiners. It was also resolved that Mr Sims be asked to retain tho jpmidsncy until tho end ol 1896.
