A steamer called tho Three Friends has sailed from here for Cuba, taking 2000 rounds of ammunition, 500 lifles and a quantity of dynamite. Washington, May 24.
Mr Olney, Secretary of Stato, has protested against tho action of General Weylor, Commander of the Spanish troops in Cuba, in forbidding tho export of raw tobacco from Cuba, and declares if this course is persisted in, tho United States will probably forbid tho importation of cigars from Cuba. Senator Stewart, while contending that it would be folly to think of tho secession of tho Western States, predicts a revolution worse than that which occurred in Franco unless silver coinago is speedily recognised. Tho llouso by a largo majority rejected a. resolution moved by a populist member impeaching the President for issuing bonds, and refusing to force through the law aimed against great trusts.
